You should implement Vegas Style Over/Under bidding on your site. This would expand the type of bets we can do, and would draw plenty of attention to the site.

Example:
ButterflyLabs will ship ASIC devices before April 2013
Over: Post April 2013
Under: Pre April 2013

If BFL ships the ASIC before April 1st 2013, the Under pot would win. If after April 1st 2013, the Over pot would win.

*There is no in-between with Vegas Style Over/Under bidding*

rather than having one bet's vote be .65 to 12.85 and another's be 72 to 6, normalize each bet so that the odds are 1 to X for each. If the reason for the current system is to show the number of bitcoins outstanding for a bet, then simply add a new line underneath the odds that shows the number of coins bid for and the number coins bid against.

Let user flag statements as true or false when the statement became officially true or false, disregarding whether the deadline is passed or not. Then bets made after a statement became officially true or false should be cancelled, or at least the winning ones ;)

lowest limit should be 0.01 which worth 1 dollar now.
